District 1 covers the northern portion of Fort Lauderdale, stretching from Palm-Aire Village and Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) in the west to the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean in the east. It includes neighborhoods such as Imperial Point, Coral Ridge, Coral Ridge Isles, Poinsettia Heights, Galt Mile, The Landings, and Bermuda Riviera, as well as the Cypress Creek business corridor, Coral Ridge Yacht Club, North Federal Highway commercial corridor, and many of the city’s northern boating and beach communities.
